Ecce
concipies, et paries filium, et vocabis nomen eius Jesum. Hic erit magnus, et
Filius Altissimi vocabitur. Super solium David, et super regnum eius sedebit,
et regnabit in domo Jacob in aeternum; et regni eius non erit finis.
Behold, you shall conceive and
bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He shall be great and called the Son
of the Most High. He shall govern the throne of David and his kingdom, and rule
in the house of Jacob for ever; and his kingdom will have no end. (Luke
